United Health Group has just released an update on the Change Healthcare situation.
Starting today, Change Healthcare will begin releasing medical claims preparation software. This is an essential step in the resumption of services. This will be made available to thousands of customers over the next several days. The company expects to have third-party attestations available before services become operational. Following this initial phase, restoration of remaining service will continue through ongoing activation phases until all customers have been connected.
The company has advanced over $2 million to help providers struggling with cash flow. Providers in need of medical assistance can apply at http://www.optum.com/temporaryfunding , or by calling 1-877-702-3253 for assistance.
